Sample with which the Academy of Arts and the National Museum of San Carlos conclude the commemorations of the 50 years of its installation. Based on pieces created by members of the painting, sculpture and graphic sections, the exhibition offers a panoramic review of the plastic arts in Mexico over more than 50 years, considering the breadth and diversity of media and modes of expression.
This exhibition shows the work of the members to commemorate these 50 years.
Artists such as Gilberto Aceves Navarro, Arnaldo Coen, Luis López Loza, Manuel Marín, Francisco Toledo, Graciela Iturbide, Jesús Martínez, Adolfo Mexiac, Carla Rippey, Nunik Sauret, Pedro Cervantes, Yvonne Domenge, Manuel Felguérez, Ángela Gurría, Marina Lascaris, Paul Nevin, Kiyoto Ota, Sebastián, Federico Silva have been leading agents of art in Mexico, contributing to the formation of an artistic heritage of great depth.
